How do I bid on oohilove?
Participating in oohilove auctions is simple:
A. Register
Registration is free and you get a free bid for joining. JOIN NOW
B. Bid on an Item
- Auctions start at $0 with no reserve.
- Each bid will increase the auction price by 2 cents and the auction timer by 10 seconds, allowing other interested users the chance to bid as well.
- To make the auctions more exciting, during the last 30 seconds of the auction, the auction timer will not increase above 30 seconds no matter how many bids are placed.
- It costs 99 cents to place a bid. Bids are available in Bid Package sizes of 30, 50, 100, 200, 400 and 800. The larger the bidpack you purchase, the more free bids you will get. BUY BIDS
C. Win a bargain!
If you are the final bidder when the timer reaches zero, congratulations, you've earned yourself up to 90% off retail on the most coveted couture!
If you need to leave your computer, don't worry - you can use the 'BID ASSISTANT' to place bids for you when you're away.

What if I don’t win?
If you don't win the auction, you have the option to "buy it now" at a discount to the value of bids you placed. In other words you can buy the product you did not win for the Worth up to Price minus the amount of money you have already spent bidding on this product. Note, you are able to "buy it now" once per auction.
How does the Bid Assistant work?
The Bid Assistant automatically places bids for you when you cannot follow a live auction yourself. Just choose your price range and the maximum number of bids that you want the Bid Assistant to place.
When does the Bid Assistant place my bids?
When the auction price reaches the minimum price you indicated for the Bid Assistant, it will automatically place a bid during the final 10 seconds of the auction. The Bid Assistant will continue to place bids in this manner until the auction price has gone above the maximum price you indicated, until the Bid Assistant has placed all the bids you have asked it to place, or until you have won the auction. The auction time will increase with each bid placed by your Bid Assistant.
If your Bid Assistant has placed the last bid, and the auction timer ends, congratulations! You are the winner of the auction and all the unused bids will be returned to your account! Your Bid Assistant can be disabled at anytime and all unused bids will be returned to your account.
*Hint: Make sure that the price range you choose is not too narrow as you could quickly be excluded from the auction when the price rises above the maximum price you indicate
Why did the auction end before my Bid Assistant started placing my bids?
The auction can end before your Bid Assistant starts placing bids if the minimum Bid Assistant auction price you indicate has not been reached. The Bid Assistant can only join the auction within your specified price range. This ensures the lowest prices for our products. All unused bids will be returned to your account.
How do I buy bids?

Although there is no guaranteed winning strategy, we would like to help you increase your chances of success. Here are a handful of hints to consider:
Start small – bid on the cheapest products first
Our cheaper products tend to have fewer bidders, meaning your chances of winning are much higher. You will still get incredible bargains on our most expensive items, although these tend to be the most competitive auctions, attracting more bidders.
Use the 'Bid Assistant' to your advantage
The Bid Assistant is a powerful tool and if you get the timing right, you can scare off other bidders by placing one. Nobody likes to see their bids matched over and over again by your all conquering Bid Assistant - you might just persuade them to give up and try again next time.
Know your fellow bidders and what they are up to
Timing is important and on oohilove you can see the details of the last six bids placed. Use this to your advantage to make sure you see who is bidding and when they're bidding. If you can work out your competitor's strategy you can jump in at the right time and snatch the product!
Pay attention to the time of day you bid
Use the internet at different times of day and thus the number of bidders will also vary within a 24 hour period. Use this knowledge to pick up bargains by bidding when others are busy having, for example, dinner.
Fine-tune your 'Bid Assistant'
When using the Bid Assistant, it's best not to set your minimum and maximum prices to a round number (e.g. $15) – other bidders will be watching out for this. Try placing your minimum and maximum prices to a non-rounded number (e.g. $15.18).
